Team Description Karin Almquist started her career in the optimist class. She was Swedish Champion and 4th girl at the World Championships. Later on she was top 3 in Europe-dingy, in Sweden. In 2001 she started sailing 470 where she made two Olympic campaigns. 2008 she sailed her first Archipeago Raid together with Karin Berg. Fredrik Aurell is new for this year. He is an accomplished keelboat sailor, Karin met him when she needed crew for a keelboat regatta a few years ago and now it is time to try it out in a smaller boat. Fredrik has experience from the World Match Racing Tour, offshore racing and big-boat sailing such as Swan 45 and the RC44. Winner of St Thomas Rolex Regatta IRC 1, Match Cup Sweden and Gotland Runt. << Back to Teams |
