Team Description

William Sunnucks and Simon Farren from Essex.
William has been sailing catamaran since 1979 and he enjoys long distance events like Worrell 1000 in 2000 (5th), Amber Cup in 2001 (2nd), Tybee 500 in 2002 (7th). He is getting quite familiar with the Archipelago Raid after having completed the race twice (2004 and 2006) and being the first foreign sailor to win the Raid in 2004.
He is back with a new crew, Simon Farren who is an extreme dinghy sailing expert (18í skiffs, 49er, Formula 18) with a large experience of long distance catamaran sailing including Round Isle of Wight, North Sea crossings in a Tornado and Channel crossings in an F18. For sure they will fight for being the first British team on the finish line!!
