Team Description Rookie team Offshore sailing experience of the team: Dar Es Salaam – Zanzibar 2008 (Tanzania, H16), Åkerlund Bornholm runt (Simrishamn, kölbåt-8m 1992), 2 times Åkerlund Sjelland runt (Helsingör- Danmark kölbåt-10m), 3 times Åkerlund Saltholm runt (Malmö, kölbåt-8m, 1994, 1995), 2 times Åkerlund Multihull sailing experience of the team: All Africa Hobie Championship 2008 (Tanzania, H16), Nordic Week 2008, Club competitions in H16 and F18 at the Dar Es Salaam Yacht club twice a week 2007, 2008 and 2009. Other sailing/adventure experience: Both Edler and Åkerlund participate regularly at endurance events e.g: Åkerlund - 5 Marathons, 2 Vätternrundor, 3 Lidingölopp, 2 Vasalopp, 1 Stockholm Triathlon (2008), 1 Borås-Halmstad-Lund-Karlsham-Växsjö-Borås 5 days (2008), 1 Örnsköldsvik – Uppsala 3 days (2008) and around 100 other smaller races.
