News![]() Three teams fight for first Frenchmen Proust and Motteau/Team Citus claimed first position again at the 2nd checkpoint of Leg 2, day 4. Having won the Archipelago Raid last year, they are fighting hard to win it again. Team Proust/Motteau is known to sail well in tough conditions. Should Team Citus or Team Audio Networks with British sailiors Sunnucks/Farren win it, it would be the first time a none Swedish team would have won it twice. Swedish sailor Magnus Woxén has two victories. William Sunnucks won in 2004. Motteau says “The race is extremely hard and the competition is well prepared. We cannot make any mistakes in navigation or boat handling if we want to stay on the podium. The race is full on all the time. Swedish Team Thule Strandberg/Örtendahl are also fighting hard for that first position. They came second last year. Team Thule and Audio Networks prove very tough competition, finishes Motteau.
