News Long Day for the Fleet Although the conditions were amazing all day long, with the sun out and 15 knots of wind, the day was long for the teams. The two legs, together 100 nautical miles, were hard for the teams: Team NCC, late in the timing, decided to shortcut and go directly to Nagu. RSBC-Huysman, their main sail torn, also had to head directly to Nagu, just after check-point V‰nˆ (Leg 6). Later in the afternoon, probably due to their wearinness, Sundsvalls Bygg damaged their boat on rocks. And HH-Marin, just after hitting rocks too, dismasted and have to be towed to Nagu.
