Atlant Ocean Racing AB (Atlant) is a sport management and sports production company specialized in managing and producing sailing projects worldwide. Our goal is to create an outstanding value for companies that use sailing as a marketing tool. Atlant was founded in 1998 by Johan Salén and Richard Brisius, both with a history of professional sailing and management of professional sailing projects.

Philosophy
We do not talk about sponsors we talk about Partners. For us Partner is the best word to describe the relation between Atlant and the Partner companies. In the interest of creating the best projects for our Partners, we view the Partners interests and commercial success as important as the sportive results. By creating and managing successful sailing projects we intend to attract the best project management and sailors in the world to ensure the best possible relation to our Partners.

Track record
People working at Atlant Ocean Racing have, except from management skills of sailing projects, a combined background from professional sailing, marketing, PR, finance, construction and technology. All projects managed by Atlant have generated four to six times the return of investment measured in exposure and hospitality values.
International Projects

• ASSA ABLOY Racing Team. Second overall in the Volvo Ocean Race 2001/2002. The project generated the highest commercial value of all teams and got the most TV exposure worldwide.

• Team EF. A two-boat campaign in the Whitbread Round the Word Race 97/98. EF Language (male crew) finished first overall and EF Education (female crew) second to last. Team EF generated the highest commercial value of all teams. EF Education, with the all female crew, got the most TV exposure of all boats worldwide.

• Intrum Justitia. Second overall in the Whitbread Round the World Race 93/94. Even though the boat finished second, the project got the best commercial return of all teams in the race.
