Arholma
Arholma was an early base for seafarers. Pleasure boats follow a thousand-year tradition as they travel past Arholma on their way to ?land. Piloting and navigation were age-old pursuits for the people of Arholma, alongside of fishing, hunting and farming. Centuries of cultivation have created an open, light landscape that contrasts -sharply with natural woodland and rocky beaches. The Archipelago Foundation continues to preserve this unique natural setting through active archipelago farming. SimesgÂrden and Godthem farms form the centre of these agricultural activities.
